Group Captain (Prof) DK Dubey, MD, Ministry of Defence, Delhi.

Gp Capt Dubey is an alumnus of UCMS under University of Delhi 1985.  He had joined Indian Air Force as Medical Officer in 1987. Subsequently he completed MD in Physiology from Pune University in 1996.  He has served at Institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM) at Bangalore and AFMC Pune as Graded and Classified Specialist in Physiology. Simultaneously he became Associate Professor and Professor at these prestigious institutes under Pune University, MUHS and RGUHS. He became Prof and Head of Dept of Physiology at AFMC in 2007. Subsequently on transfer he took over as Head Dept of Space and Environmental Physiology at IAM Bangalore up to 2014. Thereafter, he was posted as Commanding Officer of an Air Force Hospital at Amla (MP) till Dec 2016. Currently he is serving as Joint Dir (Med) at ECHS HQ under Min of Defence at Delhi as an administrator.

He has worked in the fields of Cardiovascular, GIT, Exercise and Aerospace Medicine. Autonomic evaluation in varied conditions has been studied extensively for the evaluation of Cardiovascular, Respiratory System, Endocrine,  GIT, Sleep & Clinical Conditions.  Unique work has been done in the field of simulated environment of heat, cold, space (Microgravity) and isolated closed confined environment.  Some studies have been done on defence volunteers and others on civilians.
